Chery TIGGO 7 Super Hybrid Named Australia’s Best Value Medium SUV by NRMA
The TIGGO 7 Super Hybrid has been named Australia’s Best Value Medium SUV in the NRMA’s inaugural Best Value Car Awards for 2026.
The awards look at the real cost of owning a car, not just how much it costs to buy. This includes things like depreciation, servicing, insurance, CTP and registration, tyres and fuel or electricity.
The TIGGO 7 Super Hybrid was recognised for its combination of price, technology, efficiency, running costs and practicality, showing that hybrid technology doesn’t have to come with a big price tag. It was launched as Australia’s most affordable plug-in hybrid SUV, giving drivers the option of electric driving while still having a petrol engine for longer trips.
Chery Australia’s Chief Operating Officer, Lucas Harris, said the award shows that drivers don’t have to compromise when choosing a hybrid SUV.
“The TIGGO 7 Super Hybrid demonstrates that customers no longer need to compromise. It delivers the efficiency and performance of advanced plug-in hybrid technology together with the comfort, safety and equipment expected from a modern family SUV.”
For Perth drivers looking for an affordable hybrid SUV, the TIGGO 7 Super Hybrid is one to check out.
