How do I become a member?

You become a John Hughes Gold Club member by purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from John Hughes and applying for membership online within 60 days of delivery. The link to join will be sent to the email address which you provided at time of purchase. It is free to join and available to all pre-owned vehicle customers except those purchasing from our prestige yard.

Is there a physical card?

No, we are a digital based program where you are assigned a member barcode via email which you can show in our service centre and quote the barcode number over the phone or at time of booking.

What if I already have a physical gold card?

In the past we issued physical gold cards. If you are the holder of one of these and your vehicle has been serviced with John Hughes using this card within the last 12 months, email us at marketing@johnhughes.com.au and we will send you a digital replacement which will entitle you to all the rewards.

What type of emails will I receive?

You will receive emails from John Hughes Gold Club, as well as relevant news, special offers, sales and promotional news from John Hughes.

What if I don’t want to receive emails anymore?

You can unsubscribe at anytime by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ option at the bottom of any John Hughes email or by contacting the Privacy Officer whose details can be found in the Privacy Policy link below. Please note that if you unsubscribe, you will be unsubscribing from the Gold Club membership and all emails from John Hughes and will not be eligible to redeem Gold Club benefits.

What do I get for being a member?

You’ll receive discounts on car servicing as well as offers on related vehicle items such as tyres, parts and mobile servicing.

Can my friends and family also use my card?

The membership is non transferrable and can only be used by the registered owner of the vehicle that is serviced at John Hughes. If you own and service more than one vehicle you may use your card for all of these vehicles, however please check the terms and conditions regarding certain benefits as some are only available to be used once.

When does it expire?

Your membership is valid for a period of 13 months post delivery of your vehicle. Each time you have a scheduled service of your vehicle with John Hughes and show your digital Gold Card, your membership will be extended for a further 13 months.
